ROCK CLIMBING
The area around the Barge offers a great spot for climbing enthusiasts, there are plenty of crags and bolted rock walls to climb on.
SWIMMING
One of the perks of living off-grid on a Barge is that every day you have the possibility of jumping into the ocean. There is nothing better than diving in on a hot summer day.
ARTWORK
About 100 meters from the Barge is the workshop, where I bring my art to life. Anyone interested in creating their own sculptures or learning the craft is welcome to join me there.
BEACH FIRE
We pack up some nice food and drinks and we spend a magical evening on soft sand, waiting for the sun to fade over the hills and the stars to come out.
BOULDERING
There are a lot of opportunities for outdoor bouldering. Guidance is available to explore and discover the best locations
TREKING
The bush grows all around the shore of the Hawkesbury River, where many trekking paths will lead you to incredible Australian flora and fauna at their finest.
YOGA
Start the morning with meditation and yoga outside on the Barge's deck with the sun and the gentle breeze, It is a perfect way to start your day!
CEREMONIES

HILLARY
Start your day with Hillary! This short but challenging hike takes you up a steep ascent, perfect for getting your heart rate going. At the top, you'll be rewarded with a breathtaking view over a panoramic landscape, ideal for meditating and unwinding.
BUDDHA WALK
Experience the tale, follow the Buddha's call. Enjoy a boat ride and nature walk, witnessing stunning scenery. Begin with a sunrise lookout, navigate beautiful rocks, descend into the secret valley to find the Buddha. Return through the bush to the boat
MOVIE NIGHT
Experience the ultimate movie night under the stars! Picture yourself wrapped in cozy blankets, surrounded by the soft glow of twinkling lights above. With a gentle breeze in the air, immerse yourself in the magic of cinema beneath the shimmering night sky.
REFUGE BAY
This stunning beach, accessible only by boat, features a waterfall, creating an idyllic swimming spot with breathtaking views. A brief climb to the top unveils a small waterhole, typically warm during the hotter months.
EAGLE ROCK
This natural rock formation at the water's edge doubles as an official crag for rock-climbing and abseiling. Ascend through the bush to the mountaintop and descend into the eagle rock, offering breathtaking views. The rock features a natural eagle head carving and is home to eagles.
FAIRY VALLEY
A recently discovered secret paradise in a valley not far from the Cliff Jump. This is a creek that runs down the valley into the river. It’s amazingly beautiful, full of vegetation, huge rocks, little waterfalls. Described as a fairy Wonderland by the barge crew who found this location.
CLIFF JUMP
This is an epic jump from a cliff top directly into deep river water. It’s a 9 meter drop from the top. Terrifyingly exciting! The jump will test your limits and make a memory that will never be forgotten.
